Reminders work best when they are part of the booking agreement, not an afterthought. Tell customers when they will hear from you and what to do if plans change.
A reminder two days before and another on the morning of the appointment is usually enough for local services.
Make changing easy
A reminder that only says âsee you soonâ creates more work. Include a link or phone number for rescheduling.
Measure the result
Track no-shows for a month before and after adding reminders. If nothing changes, adjust the timing or wording rather than adding more messages.
